Ok, so we have the first organised freeride happening in Cronulla, Australia at the end of the month, and being the first, I don't want to miss it!

I'm in the middle of building up an XFT hull for summer, so it won't be ready in time, and my girlfrieds stock squarenose is too good to trash (want to keep it stock from the box) and also has a broken pole.
I picked up a SN hull on the weekend for $150 which is pretty bare and needs paint, nosepiece, engine, pump, waterbox and various other things, but I think I can build a decent surf ski with junk that my mates and I have lying around.
The plan is to re-enforce, paint flat black, throw some footholds and footstraps on, 760 engine and b-pipe and a good pump. I have an old analogue total loss that I may run but not 100 percent sure.
The catch is that this thing needs to be done in a week from Thursday to give me enough time to tune it properly and iron out any bugs that may be present.
This ski will be a beater that I don't really care about, so it needs to be strong and pratical while spending as little as possible.
I have an 08 pole on the way that will go on before it's painted this weekend. Here's a few pics from when it was picked up. As you can see I have a bit of a task ahead of me, but i think it should come together fast...more pics in a few days.
