Riva RPM Kit Question

I'm lookin at a ski that I'm probably going to buy if it checks out ok. This will be my first stand up ski. Its a '97 SJ with a Riva RPM Kit, what style of riding is this kit designed for? and will the handling mods take away from any potential surf freestyle riding (p.s. not interested in flat water freestyle just yet)

No. It's a freeride package so you should be fine.
