Super Jet RN pole on SN hull

I have a RN pole I'm going to put on my SN. For now, I am going to run the stock SN bracket but in the future I'm going to get a billet RN bracket and just drill new holes in the hull for the new bracket. What I'm wondering about is the spring... I have a blowsion single spring SN style. Will this work on the RN pole? If not, and I have to get a RN spring, will the RN spring work with the pole mounted to the SN oem bracket?

I used my SN bracket and modded it before I upgraded to the Hazzard bracket. You'll have to cut your stock springs to make them work for now, that or buy a RN spring and cut it up... but then it wouldn't work once you upgraded brackets. Once your start mocking it up it's easy to see where and how to cut the SN spring.

You will also have to grind your bracket quite a bit. When I did mine I ended up relocating the hood hook location, but I'm pretty sure I've seen people make the stock hook location work. You'll also have to use stainless washer or a plastic spacer to take up the slack between the pole bolt ears and the new RN pole.

Bottom line, I've modded two different SNs to use the stock bracket with a round nose pole. In hindsight, I would've saved my money (and time) for the Hazzard bracket. I like to tinker and do things myself, but when the bracket was only like $150 now I kick myself for not doing it that way the first time.

Yea I know about the need of spacers since the RN pole is skinnier. That's why I want to get a RN bracket but am low on funds after buying so many other parts this season lol and still have to buy a RN chin pad.. But like u said maybe I'll hold off until I get the RN bracket. Is the hazzard bracket billet? I was going to get a waterdawg billet RN bracket because they are big and unbreakable looks exactly like the blowsion ones but 50 bucks cheaper. Still 200 dollars though.. Sounds of 150 sounds better but I'm not familiar with the hazzard bracket?

That hazzard bracket is sick! Nice billet and is narrow to fit the RN pole. SN hood hook holes already drilled and threaded that's the :):):):) right there! No modifying needed.. Yea I'm gonna pick up one of those :) thanks man. Now question is.. Who do I need to contact for one?

You have to grind the hell out of the bottom of the pole and bracket to get the pole to go up very far because the pole mount area is slanted back on the SN whereas it's flat on the RN. The hood hooks and mounting points are different on the RNs too.

I have an aftermarket SN spring on my RN poled sn, it looks like it has a boner. The stock SN spring worked well until it broke.

After being involved with two SN bracket RN poled skis IMO you should get the Hazard Bracket.
