Blaster rocked blaster

Just started working on my blaster that getting rockered....

looks good man, just want to throw my two cents in, i just rocker mine and the only thing i wish i wouldve done different (but i didnt know at the time) is build some kind of bond rail/water defector on the front. because riding this thing with the rocker water splashes u in the face non stop lol i hate it. thinking about redoing mine already. just throwing it out there for u it may not bother u but im just saying.

ya im gonna either make a mold out of my superjet rails for it and blaster or todd from rad dudes suggested gluing 3 peices of turf to the front as a deflector

Sorry for the n00b question. What does a Rocker do?

Cuts the point off the front of ski and makes it like a flat wall so when u jump a wave it gives more pop, which makes it easier to flip

the nose is part of a kit u can either buy from bradley who makes the carterb, which is what i have, or chris from 701 industries is about to start making one

The biggest advantage to a rockered nose is to prevent pearling while riding the face of a wave or landing re-entries on a steep wave face

Thanks Gary. We have this one almost done. It's the same one the guys are running in Australia, we added some spray deflectors to it.

just glassed 1 layer of 17oz biax and 1 layer of 7oz twill on the outside

just finished laying in some really heavy biweave prob like 30oz and a layer of 7oz twill on the inside of the ski

any input is appreciated im trying to make the splash guard....layed a guide out of duck tape and layed some really thin glass over it...im hoping it will pop free and then i can shape it a little bit, cabosil it back on and then lay some thick glass over it...

just finished painting this monster....14 hours in a respirator with only a $20 hlvp gun and a $20 air brush both from harbor freight!!!!!
