I went between the gas tank and waterbox all last year succesfully with no rub marks. It did end up rubbing against the right side of the hull and almost became a problem. This year I used rubber spark plug boots from cars/ignition coils and wrapped them around key points of the cable.
That's how I ran it last year, it went under my gas tank. I switched it up last night to run in front of the waterbox and it seems like it has a lot of pressure on it now. Each way seems kind of wierd. I may put it back the way in the picture today, just wanted to see how you guys have them set up.
