rrp steering

The rrp steering plates have been grinding on eachother. The steering has a wobble in it. I have photos to show the grinding. Was thinking about getting new orings and bearings but thought it might not be worth doing because of the grinding. The top plate has a 2 to 3 mm deep ridge in it. Anyone got experience in this situation and can advise me on whether to spend money on bearings and orings.

looks ruined to me. I just received mine and I'm not very happy with it and its new. Everyone said go RRP but i wish i would of just got a cold fusion with the bushing setup. Mine looks like it is going to fail pretty quick. Shipped to me with the wrong hardware too.

I've had one on my SXR for 5 years and 200+ hours with no issues at all. This fall it started to get a little loose, so this winter I'm going to put new bearings and O rings in it.

I think the key is to keep it greased, but don't over grease it or it will blow out the O rings.
