Blaster rumbling blaster

I just replaced the stator with a new rebuilt one from Jetski solutions ( awesome work). I lined up the only line I can find from stator to case. I made sure woodruff key was in place.

The Ski acts like it wants to start but it rumbling and spiting...all sort of nasty. I reopen the ebox and made sure ground was good and connections. Could this be that the lineing up of the stator is wrong?

sounds like the stator or flywheel came loose. I'd pull the fly cover. Or maybe the woodruf key pushed out the

make sure the flywheel is all the way down on the crank, check the stator to see where the timing is

I think that is my problem.... not sure how to tell if the stator is in the correct timing spot. Anyone have pictures or guides?
