yep...you would need to get a conversion bedplate....i think raddudes sells one

Yes our yami/kawi plate will but a 800 or 1100 in a yami plates ski.

yea, but why would you want to? kawi motors are junk!
They make great anchors, what else would you use them for...

They make more power than Yami motors and the cases can be ported to the moon with out having to bolt a BS plate on them.
A stock Kawi motor is like having a ported stroked yami. Kawi just never had a good pump or light standup to put them in.

the heart of any motor is the crank. too bad kawi didnt think ahead and use bigger and more durable bearings. instead they just used the same undersized 650 crank bearings on all their 650 750 800 motors. definate recipe for disaster , which is exactly what a kawi motor is. bone stock kawi motor is okay. add some HP to it and you better replace the crank every 5 minutes before it blows up.

if somebody asks a yes or no question, there is always going to be an answer. if the answer is yes, that doesnt mean its a good idea to do that. just trying to save the guy from making a big mistake, by giving out the facts. we should have lied and said no. sometimes its better not to know that a bad decision is an option.

I am just weighing out my options.. I am leaning towards just selling the SXR and building a Rickter with a DASA or Tru Performance engine. Might as well do it right the first time.
Exactly! Korns light SXR rips....even the pump seems great when the hull is 100lbs lighter!!!

An XFR is around 115 pounds, that is still a major weight drop from my pig of an SXR
