Blaster runs great tons of low end power, can idle for as long as I want then hammer it wot and she takes off like a rocket etc.

However! When turning the blaster on its side to side mount her, she gets all sluggish/rich and wont take off till she levels back out. Doesn't seem to matter if I have a full tank or not.

Only change is switching from single 46 on 61x cases to dual 38's on 62t cases and raising compression from 170 to 190.

Are you side mounting from the port side ?

Correct port side. Throttle side is up.

^that meme display is not going to be up to snuff for @swapmeet :)

Have you checked your N/S just off idle to see if they are puking fuel down the carburetor throats? I had a similar issue and new n/s fixed it.

Good call! N/S are 20 years old so probably time to at least replace the orings.

LOL since i've been tagged... Yeah I would check your pop off. Pop off on my dual 38's is crazy high. Like 40psi (set up by Jet Maniac....) And i'm running real close to 200psi compression.

You win! Checked pop off and the pto carb sounded like a wet fart around 21psi. Replaced the needle and she pops crisp at 34psi again.
