So guys who's rushing to get their project skis done before Lainer? I know I am. I've been sanding my hull for the past week and am finally alomst finished with the 80grit. I'm pretty sure I have all the parts I need and I'm hoping it will all go together smoothly. If it wasn't for Lainer I don't know when I would ever get this ski done!

Waiting on Short Shaft, Bearings and Seals......... Electrical box wiring harness, Start Stop switch, Deflector (Magoo made it for me to fix a crack below the bondline. and to install my internal filler.

80 grit! man you better start moving in the 600 direction. anything less than 400 looks like you used a rock on it after paint.

the short shafts were in stock at the atlanta warehouse when i ordered mine, that is if you going OEM.

Finish jetting the Octane.
Re-pitch SXR.
And I won't be able to start until week before ride.

Jets, primmer and tune. need to be done by 6pm tommorow and parts aren't in yet.

Just ordered the S.Shaft yesturday, expect it by middle of next week.

Still waiting for a pc of Carbon fiber to repair my hull, They sent carbon /kevlar which looks good but it's a bugger to work with. I opted for the carbon fiber cloth instead. But no show as of yet.
If anyone has any spare Pm me I'll be glad to take it off your hands for a reasonable price. Or just donate it to the "restore the bruised Caker Hull Foundation" lol

Mid way through foothold install..but theres two weeks no rush.

madoyster: according to us composites there is a world shortage of carbon fiber.. (I believe the new AIRBUS is like all carbon and using up ALL of it..)

fired my ski up today and ready to rip. Might make my maiden voyage this weekend if I can handle the under 50 temps.
