"Ashes to ashes, dust to dust..."
Lost a dear friend two nights ago. He's been with me through 4 years of abuse. He did everything that a friend could do. Never said no. Great work ethic. Finally on 10/4/2010 he gave his last spin on some foam rubber that was just too much for his brittle bones. He is survived by his young son and his many shiney new attachments.

In all seriousness, this is probably my most indespensable tool. I actually killed the first replacement in one day and returned it for a second today.

I have one of the air powered ones. I've had it for over 10 yrs and its still going strong. Just used it yesterday, and it is a truely indespensable tool

the newer ones just dont last like the old ones. i have taken them apart and cleaned up the brushes inside and brought them back but that wont help with worn out gears. sorry for your loss.

LOL, that sucks dude, sorry to hear it.

I have had my Dremel for 15 years, got it back when R/C cars were my first hobby. It still screams like the day it was new. I guess they really don't make 'em like they used to.
