I spent all last week thinking I was drying out my ski.... puddle here soak it up with a towel, puddle there soak it up with a towel. Shake the hull around a bit, dry any spots or puddles I see to make sure I pass the Stupid F@cking Zebra mussle inspection that is mandatory in Santa Clara County everytime you launch your boat without already having a inspection band on your nozzle....... I have many nozzles to swap back and forth but no bands on any ones yet...... Could have sworn it was bone dry!!! On the trailer driving up to the lake some water must have rattled out from behing somewhere because as soon as I opened the hood the lil a$$hole doing the inspection goes and sticks his retarded lil hand right back under the bilges and his fingers come out wet...!!!! " Sorry sir your vessel is wet and you can try agian in 5 days..." AHHHHHHHH!!! what a waste of an entire morning. And know I have 5 days to sit around and twittle my b@lls......I hate this county soooo much! Not to mention the $600 ticket some a$$hole sheriff gave me on the water last summer for idleing out of a cove not going counter clockwise.....what am I gonna do corkscrew my way outta the cove till i eventually hit the main lake...? STUPID!!!!!

$hit I wish I could.... I was just there! My lady already bought tix for motojam at infineon raceway for saturday or I would not take the ski off the trailer and down 101south I would be headed.....Sorry I cant make it but happy Bday bro. Can I get a raincheck......?

i had to do some quick research on this. it sounds really stupid but from what i read they really mess stuff up. suck none the less that you have to wait 5 days. why cant you just clean it up and try again...

Fail an inspection, mandatory 5 day waiting period......... I have never failed an inspection before. Usually you pop the hood and they take a look and say "ok, have fun." This lil d!ck started sticking his stupid hands under the motor, around the bilge mount, under the pipe, under and around the tank and waterbox.....GETA REAL JOB YOU LOOSER!!!!!

yes, holiday weekends they have sheriff on the water that strictly try and enforce the counterclockwise rule. But who knew it applied to coming out of the back of a cove still on my belly...!!

dude? Why the :):):):) didn't you double check under the hood before you pulled up to the inspection station? After I load up my ski I always stuff a bunch of rags all over the engine compartment cuz there's always a little water hiding under the tank ad w.b. That finds it's way out.

ahhh did I hurt ur wittle ears.....i said it ONCE the entire post....u would want to say it also if sum lil kid stuck his boney lil finger up ur bilge pump and didnt let u ride after working on something for 4 months and finally get it all the way to the launch ramp just to turn around and go home....

zebra mussels are part of the invasive species bulletin in my state, they are not native to the the US, but have been transported here on the bottoms of boats etc. Just like the Chinese northern snakehead fish, or the stinkbug, here in Maryland They spread like wildfire and displace native species destroying part of the ecological food chain because in many places they have no predators.

Sorry to hear that man. Stand ups get messed with all the time where I ride too. It pisses me off so bad too because we have tons of foreigners on couches that plow right through the no wake zones because they can't read english and they never get bitched at. I almost got in a fight loading up last weekend because I gave some a-hole the finger as he plowed through the no wake zone at 40 mph.
