In FL you need scooter tags for scooters but being that yours is from CT and you have a CT license you may be able to get away with the laws in which your scooter is titled? Just zip tie a CT plate of some sort (off a spare car or something) on your scoot and you wont get hassled.

Ya I have dealer plates I'm just going to tie one on.
Under 50cc in CT you can be 14 and drive on the road.
So the 49cc scooters like the ruckus are great for DUI guys who lost licenses and need to get around. Lol.

I'm sticking it in the trailer it's great for food runs and dragging the beach cart

you might get a hassle at the beach over it since they rent stuff like that on the beach. If they let you on the beach with it I'm sure you'll have to pay the daily beach driving fee.

i brought my moped many times nobody said anything, i rode on beach and road, that ruckus is a neat little thing , that was the name of my cattledog

I was in clearwater fl, I picked up a small 50cc 2 stroker. I drove it for five days with nothing. The sixth I got pulled over, cop was an a$$hole. Gave me a big ticket. The next day I went and registred it and paid my ticket. A couple days later I thought it was stolen from my apartment parking lot. I reported it stolen. Even called all the towing companies, no one said they had it. Three weeks later I get mail from a towing company telling them I owe them money. I went down there they wanted around $600. I told them the scooter is worth 300 and I would give them 150 to take it out right now. They said no. They told me if I gave them the key they would give me back my licence plate and chain and lock. I said no, because than they could sell it for a profit. I just hope that does not bite me in the ass couple years from now.

The motorized bike looks cool, but you cant take a passenger.

No driving/beach passes required in December or January. Don't drive like a jackass and don't speed and you should be fine.
