Scooter or minibike street legal input welcome

in the past years we have been to Havasu several times for WF and every year i regret not picking up a small scooter/minibike etc for the every day trip from the house to the beach or store or otherwise...

Anyway I am looking for any recommendations for scooters ( no china stuff ) or minibikes which allow for easy registration/street legal for putting arround and being somewhat reliable...under $ 1500

You asked about scooters and mini bikes. If you want something under $1500 that's what you'll get. No need to mod it. 50cc scooters go about 35mph, and don't need insurance or plates around here. Over 50cc is designated a motorcycle, and requires a license, insurance, and plates to drive.

Aerox YQ50 is the answer its its un questionable (water cooled) , yamaha Zuma if its out of your price range, with either of thoese two you can putt around on the back wheel if you feel up for it .

Mine is titled and registered in Arizona.

Motor-driven Cycle – A motorcycle originally manufactured to exceed 20 mph, rated at 5 hp or less, and not more than three wheels in contact with the ground. Includes motor scooters rated at 5 hp or less.
Title and Registration – Must be titled and registered.
Driver License – A motorcycle license or endorsement is needed.
Emissions – Emissions testing is not required.
Insurance – Vehicle insurance is required.

I have amotorcycle license >> more than 50cc's no problem, I want it to be street legal for havasu and other little trips we take

Honda CT 70's are pimp especially with lefian 125cc kit engines, I used to have a honda 50 when i was 16.

There is guy who wants to trade me my 2 place sit down trailer for a suzuki PV 90 kinda rare but stret legal, plate and registered at the moment, just tough to come by parts

I want to build something like these someday just for fun. A mix of mini bike parts and mountain bike. I'd want Honda 50 or 80 engine, if it pedals and under 50cc it doesn't need licensed up here I believe. 3rd one is electric

I thats not true for every state.

I have a Yamaha Zuma with some bolt ons hitting 62 mph. Its a fun bike to get around on.

Aprilia mojito ported 70cc 2smoke. tdot made me tag and insure it just like a motorcycle.

300cc briggs n stratton water pump engine and some bicycle parts welded together. Not quite street legal but dangerously fun to ride.
