I'm building a seadoo 951 carb engine and am unsure on piston to cylinder wall clearance.
Its bored 2mm over to 90.
I had to go with wiseco pistons. The box says .004 But I keep hearing because they heat up faster and many people don't warm up watercraft enough that I need to set it at .007.
Me and my mechanic settled at .006 I believe its really set to .0058
I'm going all the way with this thing, oem crank, and porting. For that reason I'll have alot invested in this engine and I am worried about this clearance debate.
Can someone qualified or even a lot of self proclaimed qualified people let me know the correct clearance for this set up?
