You can, a couple of different ways. If you're in a forum with the threads listed, in the top right corner is Search Forum. Otherwise, click Advanced Search then hit the other tab Search Single Content Type and you can pick your forum(s) to search.
Yes, I know the search isn't as good as it used to be, as do all the other vbulletin webmasters that "upgraded" to this version.
