Freestyle Set up wakes, barrel rolls, good starting tricks to work up to on Moded 90 SJ SN

Ive been riding my whole life, im 16, i ride a 90 SJ with a pipe, ride plate, impeller, motor work, etc. I need some tips on barrel rolls and tricks, setup wakes, and where to start with on some intermediate tricks. Im not new to the sport, but i want to step up my game. So where should i start?

start with nose stabs then 180 inverted stabs subs and hood tricks. i beguan buy watching youtube videos and just pay attention and go out and ride your heart out good luck

Thankyou thats good advice. But what exactly should i look up on youtube? And how do you do a nose stab/sub without the water hitting u in the face and pushing u back, i usually just lower down to the tray and push the poll up.a bit. And whats the major diffrence between a stab and sub?

Chek the how to section on here. Has instructions on a lot of ticks. On YouTube there's a little Asian guy who demonstrates all sort of tricks. Kind irritating how easy he makes it look lol but it might help. Search freestyle jetski or standup.

I'd say avoid nose stabs if your learning to roll, it's the same process kinda, but once you learn nose stabs it's hard to commit to a roll IMO. Get a helmet, they hurt when not landed.lol

Yeah i got a helmet, iknocked myself out last year so i definently have a helmet haha. Thanks for the tips. So then can u explain how to make a setup wake and steps how to roll cuz ive read the others and still confused. I know i should start on boat wakes, but i also need tips on making your own good setup wakes

There are a lot of really threads on this stuff man. Try the search function and then ask some specific questions about the techniques described.

Example: Advanced Search, Search Thread titles, Setup Wake. (Link doesn't work...)

i find this funny cause i was about to create a thread asking the same question about a similar ski lmao im workin on a barrel roll but not goin well so might just start with nose stabs/180s, i wouldnt start with rolls on boat wakes, if you dont make it you have more height and a better chance of cracking/breaking something

im working on rolls also.basically im to the point where i just kinda over rotate my inverted subs .my head gets wet but i stay in the tray and roll out of it.

my 16lb battery is not helping though.
