A well padded heavy duty box. Costs about 80. Use fedex.

I have used ice chests in the past. Find one the fits your motor, pack the inside of the chest then duct tape it shut.

Igloo cooler... a styrofoam one would come apart quickly.

Get a rubber maid box and put the motor in a garbage bag and then put it in the box then two part foam it and trim it down and secure the top

Rubbermaid Roughneck to be exact. Like 8 bucks and some change at Walmart. I drilled little holes in the top lip (with the lid on) and zip tied it every couple or 3 inches.

Most important thing is padding under the motor.
