Shipping rant

What the hell is going on with shipping stuff now , I realize Christmas is around the corner but here is my issue, I buy something from Amazon, Ebay, Temu etc , almost immediately it says shipped , but it's not shipped , all they did is create a shipping label, now to me something is not shipped till it hits the Post office, Fed ex, UPS etc , what's been going on here lately is they print a shipping label , then it sits there for three or four days , it finally gets shipped out.

You get a delivery date , which again is total BS because what happens here is it makes it to the Montgomery post office and it stays parked there for two or three more days before it gets here, if it has hit Montgomery , I should have it the next day, well not anymore the whole system is screwed if Elon and Vivek want to start somewhere fix the damn postal system , that would be a great place to start it has been operating in the red for years.

Right now the USPS is running additional remote sorting centers. Their tracking service can’t follow items as closely.

I have noticed the tracking info has been very vague as of late for sure .

This last order from Ebay was shipped from Kentucky on Dec 9th , since then it has made it to Cincinnati Ohio , how did they ship this , pony express , this is ridiculous !

Probably Federal Express. The USPS got into bed with them a while ago. I worked for one of the independent airlines that flew mail before Fed X got everything.

It's USPS , so yeah Pony express lol, it finally hit Montgomery last night , let's see how long it sits there , if it's here by Friday I will be amazed.

I feel your pain ! I’m seeing the same crap as from so thing I ordered on eBay . Usps is incompetent . Most people that work there don’t seem to give two poops about customer service .
I hope trump privatizes it . They are losing millions of dollars every year just like many other services that the government runs .

All of the services are bad. I wait even longer where I'm at. As for privatizing usps... ups and fedex won't carry your letter across the country for 50 cents

Agreed so take the load off of USPS then , let them handle the tetters and let someone else handle the packages, it seems to me the packages are where they seem to be struggling at . Turn the packages over to Amazon, they don't seem to have any issues delivering packages and are already set up to deliver them.
