It wouldn't be legal or efficient but I bet it could.

we wake boarded behind our seadoo when it was having some power issues. Its way harder to get up with so little power, but once you up you could fly across the water. The only problem is balance and not breaking lose if the boarder/tuber swings way out to one side. But theres hardly any drag once your up. would make wake to wake jumps a breeze behing a 650

i wanna try that one day now!!

My first ski was a 87 650sx that I bought new. I pulled tubes , kneeboards and even a slalom skier with it. The ski will do it. It was a bitch getting a slalom skier up though.

The ski in that ad is probably an 87, not an 89

I've tubed behind a 750sx, and I'm 200+. Standups turn so tight that he could turn a real slow tight circle and I'd be going so fast that I couldn't keep my head up. It's not legal (no spotter or place for tube rider to sit), but still fun.

I pulled an adult in a tube with my stock JS550.

Be aware that the ski WILL NOT circle when it's pulling something!

The only issue was the back of the ski getting jerked out from under you when you whip the tube around in a tight turn.

I remember those lol. They were only manufactured for one or two years if I remember correctly. You park a Tigercouch in the center of the "boat" hull and drive away. Kawi had an add-on aftermarket thing called the wedge. It was a big bouy type thing that fit around the ski to make the stand-up feel and act more like a couch. I think that was where the idea came from.

its amazing what people can do with a standup jetski on a weeklong houseboat trip when they are drunk and bored.
my 550 pulled two adults on this tube. also pulled my buddy on a wakeskate. at first we launched him from the houseboat. did a deep water start after he fell.

wow, i really didnt think it could be done.... to me i have hard enough time riding right now but i guess some people have some crazy skills. I use to have a 650 and that seem like it didnt have alot of power to do that.
