New to me blaster. runs nearly perfect except dies when going from idle to full throttle.

if you crack it open just a hair then punch it no issues. or on and off throttle once on plane no problems.

disassembled carb to fix a stuck needle valve. all the gaskets looked ok and it has a 122.5 pilot and a 145 main jet. The ski is stock 44mm single I believe with a factory limited pipe.

Low speed adjuster was 1 turn out high speed adjuster was 2 1/8th turns out.

I plan to get a rebuild kit and pop-off tester soon but its running so closely to perfect i think some tweaks should get it by the next couple weeks.

Any Ideas.

also compression was 140 front and 125 rear. not ideal but not terrible in my eyes.

There are instruction for that pipe on the factory pipe website. See where you are at jetting wise compared to what they call for. I prefer a slightly lower pop-off than what they recommend, even with a stock f/a.

It's not so much your compression number as it is the difference between the two - too many variables between testers ( calibration, has it been drop checked, are the schrader valves clean etc).
If you think it's running perfect, wait till you get those holes fixed right - night and day difference with proper comprssion
