single carb into dual

i just bought an "old style" 701 motor and it has a different intake setup that wont support dual carbs....is there a certain type of aftermarket adapter i can buy, if so what is it called??

Is is an X or T motor?
Yes there are diffrent intakes for both.

You can buy an aftermarket dual carb intake manifold for the 61X cases (it sounds like that's what you got), but many will say that you best stick with the single carb on those cases.
