Super Jet Sj chinpad

Ok so i recently got an rrp pole for my sxr and looked at all of the chinpads available and the only one i like is the sj pad so i bought one of those too. I noticed alot of these sj pads that i see on sxrs are thinner and less bulky than the stock pad but are all of these pads carbon or can i slim up my stock pad by just buying a blowsion cover and modifying the pad? Anybody done a sj pad wrap?

Btw that is my bulky black oem pad on my sxr, compared to the carbon pads from blowsion

i used a carbon blowsion pad on my rrp. you have to add spacers to the mounting bolts and remove the aluminum support. i removed all the foam and just turfed it for a slimmer look.

i have trimmed the OEM pads to be more like the blowsion ones. if you take your time and do it right they can look good

The blowsion "glove fit" covers used to come with instructions to modify the stock chinpad plastic and foam so the cover would fit. I had done this to my stock pad and couple years ago. If i remember correctly you have to trim off about 0.5" off the front and then shave down the foam to the proper thickness.

call the guys at blowsion and ask them about it.

Will check for some pics on my old computer. Pretty sure I had instructions though...anyways I'll see what I can find

Looked through my old pics but could not find any good pics with closeups of the chinpad. I did find the instructions that blowsion emailed to me back in 2008.
