SJ driveshaft differences between SN and RN

are they different? My buddy needs a 95 (sn) but what else will fit (including other yahamas)? I check part numbers and they don't match between RN 6R7-45511-01-00 and SN 6R7-45511-00-00 yet prices are identical and bottom decks, midshafts are the same (well except for 650)? anyone can shine a light?

some have said that the shaft itself is a little skinnier but they are the same length and splines are the same... that being said, they are 100% interchangeable.

i am currently running a SN (1994) shaft in my RN
