I drove one as a rental and I really was not impressed. Front end shake after 12k miles.

I think any very poorly treated car can fall apart fast.

But we had a 1L Ecoboost in the family and it blew up before 50k. That really killed it for me

My buddy drove my 2008 Suburban with 292,000 on it. Said it drove better than both of his newer cars. It's amazing how things last when you take care of a good design.

We have a GX470 with 321k. Same story. DOHC V8 though

I bet the owner of those SJ's could be entitled to some royalties from Ford......especially if he threatens them with legal action for using his picture without his permission.

he did the shoot for ford and the maverick was definitely not towing them and it was shot in mission bay

Not photoshopped 36,000 miles in 14 months. It's been a great little truck. I rarely drive my F150 anymore.

two skis...that is really pushing the towing capacity of a maverick

like the sport trac was to the explorer, the maverick is closer to the escape than and of the truck line

not a bad thing, just have to know the specs and use case of what you are buying
