Slide bar in threads

Whats the green and white scroll/slide bar for in the threads under the page count?

Its a pretty green but not I cant see a function with it.

Just wondering.

Hmm it must only be on my work computer. It must be blocking that FB "Like" button and replacing it with the slide bar. will post a screen shot tomrorow.

Cant figure out how to post a screen shot. I can get it to show up in word, but not sure how to get it in a post. Oh well.
