Well i bought my 95 SJ last year and got hooked, its a blast to my surprise. When i bought it, it already had a few mods, pipe, carbs, intake grate and prop.

Some pics of when i got it.

sprayed it truck bedliner black last year and some pics of me on the water noobing it up.

At the end of the season my wear ring on the pump wore out so it would cavitate bad and that was the last time i rode it and started pulling it apart. I also removed the dual 44mm buckshots as the bottom end sucked with them and installed a stock single.

Past months work on the rebuild

defoamed

Cut 3" off the back

Foot holds install

Got a round nose pole and got x-metal adjustable steering

Removed the hood liner and modified it soo it doesn't take it too much water and weight reduction, removed about 4-5 lbs

Also bought a whole new pump, prop and all came with a WSM wear ring, skat 13/17 cutback 3mm prop.

Getting closer my friend painted for me and cant wait to get this thing in the water.

Engine wise will be simple this year i got a protec head, b-pipe, after market waterbox thats pretty much it. Just going to enjoy it and hope it lasts this summer. Maybe next year i'll do a 62t/61x ported motor or something.


Stuff left to do is turf, install everything back and hope it doesn't sink LOL

Going to do black turf and turf the rails. Not sure on the front is i should use the stock rubber or turf it. I cut about an inch off the front lip

Slowly getting there, We got the engine in, shimmed it hopefully good enough will find out when stuff breaks. The 08+ pole works with stock cable but you need the x-metal steering for it to work. I reinforced the sides with 2 layers of 12oz i believe.
