This was my first ski, purchased it a year ago and rode it mostly stock all last summer getting the basics down. It started life as a bone stock 650 SN that looked like it had never been on the water. But as with most of my hobbies I rode it like I stole it and got to the point where the 650 just wasnt getting the job done. I started gathering up parts slowly and now it has finally gotten to a point where I can show it off a little. Still waiting on some parts to arrive and almost have the funds saved up for my Jetmaniac 760 build. It will hopefully be on the water in time for the Lone Star Freeride.
Last summer
The tear down
Bare hull
Defoamed tray
Trimmed up the nose a little
Cut off the rear lip and added drain plugs
Tom21 foot holds and polystyrine foam
Reinstalled the factory tray pieces along with some 17 biax for ultra heavy duty reinforcement
Then started on the bodywork and paint
Top deck painted waiting to get cut and buffed
Carbon fiber hood and nose piece along with the turfed rails and nose
Turfed in the tray, 18mm plush along the center, 26mm plush on the bottom of the holds and 18mm plush for ankle and side wall support in the holds
Still waiting to finish up my RN pole and waiting for more parts to come in. The only thing I now regret not doing was a trim system and not chopping down the back of the hull a few inches.
Parts so far:
Modified Riva Groovy ride plate
Protec intake grate
Skat trac 9-17
Unknown carbon fiber hood and nose piece
tom21 footholds
x-metal adjustable steering(in transit)
Hazzard RN-SN bracket(in transit)
61x out of a Blaster1 waiting to get sent to Jetmaniac
And a bunch of little detail stuff that do nothing more than make it look cool lol
