Super Jet SN vs RN

Im pretty sure this has been covered before but I cant find a thread on it. used google to search and the search function here but nothing. so if you know of the link, please post it.

what i was wondering is......

would an old SN with a 701 (61x case,62t cylinder) motor swapped into it compete with a RN with a 701 (61x case, 62t cylinder) in doing flatwater freestyle?

reason i ask, ive ridden a 2001 SJ and loved it but they are all SUPER pricey here right now. I have found a few SN for cheap and could swap out the 650 for the 701. Or would it be better to just spend the extra and buy a RN?

once again, sorry....but i couldnt find the thread

Pole and tray will make them feel a lil different, but performance wise if they're both 701s
they would be identical. The entire bottom deck/pump is identical on SN/RN up to 08.
The top deck is a but more sturdy on a RN as well.
Its Made of real fiberglass instead of fiberous plastic bs..
RN hood is less susceptible to water inhalation than SN hood too.
RN has bigger and cooler IMO exhaust too.
Just a few differences I noticed as my buddy jus bought a RN hull to swap his SN parts into..

Yeah the 701 will have no probs connecting to the SN exh hoses.
Depending on the size of the stinger outlet of your pipe
u may have a stretch/tight fit to the Waterbox Inlet hose, but no biggie.
My SN is that way.
Some hot water and dawn dish soap :)
