SX/SXi/SXi Pro Solas 12/18 vs skat trak 9/17

Looking to buy an impeller for my 750sxi can someone tell me why which one is better then the other, I have a chance to buy both but the 9/17 is $75 more.

thats all i know on the impellers. My engine is pertty much stock except for the fact that it has been port and polished. Im looking for some more pop in my low to mid range.

I have a concord 11-16 in my hand and it is shallower than any 9-17 that I have seen, probably ideal with a 76mm nozzle. The 12-18 would be a good choice as long as you used a larger nozzle from a 650sx and could bend the blades if necessary.

Kevbo, has your 11/16 been repitched? I though the lower the number the shallower the pitch.

My 11-16 is stock, the numbers dont often mean much between brands. I do know that your high port cyl with stock pipe and 76mm nozzle need a very shallow prop. A bigger nozzle will noticeably improve thrust and lighten the pump load. Either one of your choices will be fine but get a 750sx and 650sx (80 and 83mm) nozzle for tuning.

Get a 9/17 BIG HUB SWIRL Scat.....
I have the solas concord 9/17 in my gf pro and its no where near as snappy as a Scat big hub.....
