Some Mods for control /and handling ?

i want more control and handling from my 650sx.
yes i know all about its sluggish porpoising ass but i like it.

so, im now trying to put like 5 or 10 degree bars on it, just got a new finger throttle and cable, custom made short, and and adjustable nipple, so its uber responsive throttle lad!

okay, the ride plate, stock, comes to where the fiber glass ends so its not protruding nor is it shorter than the length of the boat. so no mods here i guess for the ride plate, intake is simple, but will keep stock i think...for now ( parts , large heavy metal parts, are expensive in shipping here to aus....) ??

what can i do for handling and control here???

i shortened my pole 3" and it stopped porpoising a ton. i like how the ass handled. sliding a 650sx around is amazing. but im weird lol. deeper ribbed ride plate will make it slide less.

do slalom/racers jetski standups shorten, leave or extend their poles???
The last year for slalom was 1993, they had to stop the event so Superjets could be competitive. Using flat bars on a stock length pole is usually enough for small/short guys. Anyone over 5'7" or 150lbs would want a shorter pole and/or longer plate. Adding skegs to the plate will make it easier to hold on an edge, it will also remove steering authority. Plate length has no effect on steering.
