Squarenose bent driveshaft?

Fixing up a 90 SN. Been chasing a growling sound. Thought it may have been a mid shaft bearing. After getting a new housing and tearing it down it seems like my drive shaft may be bent. Just looking for anyone that’s had similar experiences know where to start. Was told maybe pump bearings. Attached is a video of the driveshaft which I’ve figured out the noise has been the shaft grinding slightly on the hull.

With the midshaft removed, there's nothing supporting the driveshaft. I would expect a bit of movement but that looks excessive. You will need to remove the pump to get a good look at the shaft. I've straightened a few driveshafts but you will need to completely remove it from the pump. Then set it on some v-blocks and check runout with a dial indicator. Mark high spots, set it on a flat piece of wood, whack high spot with hammer, repeat until straight.

Have the pump pulled. Shaft is bent for sure. Impeller and wear ring are in great shape as well as pump bearings as far as I can tell. Will either straighten or replace.

must have been a hell of a lawn dart! Where the engine mounts broke?
2 broke during shake test. Got 4 couch mounts in now ready to go. It’s surprising to me because I’ve been riding this ski hard for 6 years rolls, stabs, surf, etc. and never gave me any reason to think anything was this bad other than that growl.

Yeah, but what damage was done to the midshaft splines? To be safe, I would replace midshaft and drive shaft....... Would suck to spend alot of time getting straightened, only to have strip out later...
I have my midshaft packed with grease already so no pictures. But there is minimal wear on both. Had a friend with a lot of SJ knowledge and experience look them over and he suggested straighten and run it if I can. If I had unlimited money and time I’d agree with you and replace them both, but I work out of town for months at a time would like to have it ready to go for when I get back from this next job.
