Hello
I know the „perfect“ squish is between 0.040-0.045“
My cylinder was grinded and know I need a new base gasket.
i am thinking about to use one to get a squish of 0.05“ because I do a lot of unterwater Freestyle tricks and it can be that there comes some water in into the Engine. I know that it isn’t good but in some challenge you can’t prevent it so I am thinking about to get a higher squish (0.05“) to get a little bit more safety when this happend.
is it okay to run this squish or is there any other risk except to loose some power and decrease the compression ?
I ride a stock 62t case with 61x cylinder Prox pistons ada 35cc Domes in girdle head, v vorce 2 reeds, b pipe, Freeride innovation waterbox and stock air Filter.
