I personaly do not like the blowsion spring at all so needed to do something different. The UMI spring was the best out there, they dont make them anymore so I had them made even BETTER from 304 stainless so they will not rust. They are the same tension and better yield strenght and elongation than the UMI was.

These are on there way to me, 27 of them made from 304 stainless. I will be selling them for $30.00 shipped in US. I will be keeping 7 for me and some friends though. So 20 avail. and for $30.00 TOTAL your sh-t wont ever look like below.

The only 2 Blowsion springs I have used or seen used weren't as stought as stock. Besides the UMI's were the bomb other than rusting.

It looks like around $40.00 shipped will cover them but not sure until he makes them exactly and it also depends how many I have him make.

Mine works great on my stock pole w/stock bracket. It really makes the pole float very well. I also tightened up my stock bracket a little more so it has that stiffer feel to it.

I run my pole real tight (it squeaks when lifted or lowered) but below halfway down it really helps this old mans back to run the spring as well. I tried no spring (after the Blowsion didnt work) for about a month and its just not worth it.

This must be why mine didnt work w/ Wammer bracket and A/C pole.
But doesnt explain YAMACATS on stock bracket.

They even thought they put the stock one back on by mistake.!!!!!!!!! swapped back no difference. I believe Mark at Blowsion mentioned something about a bad run or something.... But yea, you got to have that lower point on the bracket to lock the spring in place, then the other tab goes in the front of the pole at that mount

I think you got lucky, but if you ever change to a lowered bracket and want to keep using the spring, you are going to have to find a UMI/RIVA spring. You might could get away with using an R&D Lowered Bracket. There is a mounting tower that would act as the return stop.

I am going to get a few of these made. I am sure they will be needed eventually.
I think this will be best of both worlds as the UMI spring has been awesome except for the rusting issue and these being stainless they will not rust.

I have a UMI bracket with stock pole. If it will work I will take one...

This spring will work on any stock or aftermarket set up. It will be identical to UMI but in stainless and maybe stoughter( not enough feedback on that yet).

Looks like Wamiltons got a new one out too. Looks simular to the Blowsion @ $39.00 Plus $8.00 frt.
