I've never seen a stainless plug socket (13/16) but I'm sure some one makes one some where. If you can find a stainless ratchet to match then you'd have the winning combo

kevin..just throw a box end wrench in there and you are good to go...a little rust never hurt that. The OEM tool kit is pretty good also...

I see what you're saying now but I don't understand why it has to be stainless. Do you have to have the socket in your ski so you can pop the hood off in the middle of the ocean to change plugs when they foul?

Stainless doesn't rust or break down. I ride in the salt. And I am just one of those few people that just likes nice things.

Curious if there is stainless steel open end wrench like this?

says the guy with top ramen as his pic. I always find a wrench to be a PIA when removing plugs. A ratchet or breaker bar is the only practical tool

Thanks Crab! Just had to see if they were out there.

The Top Ramen guy is a full time student. He is always learning by asking questions and making mistakes.

I have these really short one sided open end wrenches I found next to a dumpster one day, look like they came as a disposable tool for something automotive. I have no clue but they work great.

I wasn't knocking that you want nice tools. I'm just questioning why you need a spark plug wrench with you 100% of the time. I can understand a screw driver and I can even understand some pliers for when the random unthinkable thing happens and you're in a bind...but if you have to pull the spark plugs so much that you need a dedicated spark plug tool with you, I would think there are other issues you need to address first.
