Standup Caught in Large Surf

So Surf Ontario shared a vid on FB showing some PWC's getting caught in big surf while/after towing people in surfing. at 0:24 seconds in it shows a standup getting critically close to some big surf. Anyone know where the original stand up footage came from or who it is?

I saw the vid online the other day and was wondering myself......not randy laine...think thats an outer reef in portugal or france..forget the name....whoever it was he got destroyed...Think it was pretty recent too...
