Standup loading on boat

Hi,
Does anyone load their standup on a boat?
I am thinking of making a base to load the superjet on the aft deck of my boat and would be interested to see any ideas.

I used to put my 550 in my 15’ Boston whaler. Basically lift it up and slid it on in front of drivers seat. Terrible - my dad was not happy with me. Lol 30+ years ago. However that 40 year whaler sold for twice what we paid for it in the 80’s. They are like Rolex’s

This is the area were it will go.
I was thinking about a crossdeck construction and loading/unloading to be done from the side of the boat.20200125_165335.jpg

looks like you could make a set of 2x4 bunks that pinch against the gunnels pretty easy, maybe put some adhesive backed foam or rubber on them to keep from scuffing the boat and either use a jib crane to load it and all the whoppers you catch, or make some ramps and put a winch on the front of the bunks to winch it up out of the water.

to winch it probably could make the bunks extend beyond the side of the boat a bit, round the edges of the bunks, and add a urethane roller in the middle to run the winch around so it pulls the ski up out of the water then across onto the bunks

I just saw these pics on the Everything Standup Jetski group on FB yesterday. Definitely has my wheel spinnin!

I also saw these photos and seems like a straightforward idea.
The only thing is that it would need some kind of weight support in the middle.
Something like that in aluminium tubing would be perfect. But with the inclined and the winch sections removable for more smooth look when the ski is loaded.

Yea, my v-drive wake boat has a deeper engine cover so more of the jetski would be up on it than in those pics.

The upholstery on my 15 yr old boat is starting to fail. So I've been thinking about reupholstering anyway. Now I'm wondering if I should pull the stock engine cover & put it on the shelf. Then build another one to install in it's place that has this bunk setup integrated in it. Then the day I sell the boat, I'll just swap engine covers back & the boat will be stock again.
