Anyone have any experience with Weather pack In heavy salt water use. I don't see any marine spcifications. I know my automotive fuses don't hold up even with dielectric grease. Looking for something that's going to make it several seasons like OEM would.

Any alternatives that are reasonable in price but mostly bulletproof to the salt water?

Thanks.

Edit: My parts are all good. The issue is in the connector. I just want to replace the connector. I know I can use marine bullet connectors and shrink wrap, but I'm looking for something easy to work with like stock.

If assembled correctly those will be fine. I put quick connects on my stator lines about 3 years ago and they have been solid.

Matter of fact, these are probably better than the OEM start/stop connectors.

I don't see weatherpack being any better than OEM. I would still pack either with dielectric grease for added safety.

Make sure you completely fill the body of the connector with grease so it's right up to the wire seals as well.

Edit: I had weatherpack connectors on my Yamaha ATV and they were just as bad for water intrusion and needed to be filed with dielectric grease as well. And it never saw salt water ever.

I second that. Those have been on my stator wires for 3 seasons and gone through two sinkings with absolutely no issues. Heavy heavy full time salt water use. Only fresh water I see is the hose.

Mine are packed full of di-electric like OCD suggested.

I bet I just hexed myself now though.
