SX/SXi/SXi Pro Start/Stop conversion: yamaha 701 to a Sxi pro

Hi, wondering if anyone knows how to do a Start/Stop conversion using a Yamaha superjet 701 start/stop switch and wire it onto my 2001 Kaw SXI Pro. Ive seen some posts, but they lack detail and pics. I would appreciate the input.

Yamaha wire color - red brown black white goes to
Kawi wire color - orange white black blue


The Yamaha wire on top connects to the kawi wire color directly below it.

I actually bought all the necessary parts to build some adapter harnesses to make this a plug and play conversion.
For some reason I stopped moving forward because I thought that the contacts were different from Yamaha to Kawasaki.?.?.? ie: one was normally open where the other was normally closed.
