I have a 1990 squarenose and the stop button on the start stop switch doesnt work. The tether also doesn't shut it off when removed but it wont start without the tether in. I took the switch apart but didnt see anything that looked corroded or broken. Any ideas?

unplug black and white , see if skis starts, runs....now with that unplugged it wont shut off !!! replug and turn off...most likely SS switch scored /corroded,or little sprinsg worn....
