Super Jet starter quit?

im just getting a click from the ebox when I hit the button thought it was my battery cause it turned over slow a couple times but I just had the battery tested and its fully charged. what should I do now? I just got this back together after replacing the motor mounts im sick of working and ready to ride please help

Sounds like your starter the bed. Get a starter from JetManiac and go ride!

is there a good test to check and make sure the starter is bad?

also is it possible to remove/install the starter without removing the pipe.(factory b pipe) probably a really dumb question but im a noob and don't wanna do more work than needed

Yeah its possible but pain in the but, mine was doing the same and the front bearing was seized

Yea I've changed all my starters in my old superjets and even in my Gen 2 Bob with the bpipe on. Takes a little time and patience

so I just got the starter pulled I hooked up on my battery charger and it spins fine????

Prob the bendix inside fly wheel cover, or your motor is locked up, c if u can spin the coupler

Yep, pull spark plugs and turn over by spinning the coupler by hand first to rule out a locked up motor or pump or midshaft first. Then try starter directly from the ebox to bypass solenoid.

is it ok/a good idea to spray a bunch of w/d or liquid wrench on the bendix through the starter hole? it looks rusty from what I can see which isnt much of course. how do I try starter directly from ebox to bypass solenoid? im pretty ignorant/scared when it comes to electrical stuff. thanks all for the help

If your bendix is visually rusty I highly suggest pulling the from cover and inspecting further. It's much cheaper to replace a bendix than grenaded electronics and cases because it went boom.

Hold starter in your hand cannect positive terminal out of ebox to starter and ground to motor push start button

You can jump out a starter on the bench with a spare battery and two spare cables as well.
