yes
The close together one has a nasty turn in it and it wil destroy your engine when you start making good power
get a r&d domnator manifold or a std 760 one and do some work on it

I have some starting settings for you but refuse to give them to you with that manifold as i dont want you coming back and saying wax gave me settings that destroyed my engine

I was thinking about fabbing up a custom side draft style intake and running it with some sort of custom sirbox to stop water ingestion. Not sure if i have enoguh room. I said forget it ill just run it with my manifold i have for now. But now i might go back to my idea.

I'm not forkin over the cash for a dominator. Too much money.

How about a Riva?

Dont worry i wont blame you for detroying my engine. I could use the starting point.

Your engine with the spec's you gave me, it's real aggressive porting. I would have to control all of the engine spec's to be able to run any of the jetting formats I use...IE Headpipe size, exhaust system, cooling set-up, portmapping on the cylinders, case porting, compression RATIO and squish RATIO, squish clearances, reed and intake manifold set-up. Just way too many things to consider what will work and what won't work...My advice is ALWAYS the same, CONTACT THE ENGINE BUILDER THAT BUILT IT! If that can't be done, then your most likely on your own.

Thanks Chuck. I was told it was just standard DASA Porting. When you say aggresive porting, was it to the freestyle side or the racing side.

Im sure my measurement were not exact, how big of a difference does a small error in measuremnt make when determinig how aggresive the porting is?

sorta
i would put a lower low speed jet in it and take it to the water
Do you know how to jet in a boat
I mean will you know what you are looking for when you are riding it as to rich or lean

my carb tunign skills are limited. Ive dialed in 1 boat before but it was a stock single carb that needed to be adjusted after a few mods. So it was close to start.

Ill be reading the Mikuni manual on here a few times and reading all teh jetting in the Tech FAQ and then im out to give it a shot. Thats why i was looking for a starting point. I would like to start really fat and then just jet down.

with out being rude this is going to be alot harder for you to set up
I suggest you get with some one who can do this and then watch them or just book it into to a shop and have them do it

yeah i tried getting a local shop to do it. He said no it would take too long and hed have to close the shop down for a day.

I wouldnt trust a regular yamaha/kawi place to do it.
