i was overthere yesterday and the beach was closed. it looks like the soonest they could reopen is next friday.

i ride in a hot water lake from a power plant when it gets cold outside and i am sure it has bacteria since the water doesn't get below 70 but i don't know about this though. that is nasty.

I think i will call, if the beaches being closed means I can get a 100% refund on the campsites ive had reserved Ill be more than happy to tell the state of MO to suck my butt.

the lake pool is 660 feet and it is not really ever supposed to be over that.

last week the lake was up to 660.9 feet and topped a lot of peoples seawalls.

but with as much water as they've been running through the dam i don't see why it wouldn't been clean by now.

I believe the "beach " they are speaking of is only the cordoned off area that is a public swimming area by the PB2 main office/launch - NOT where we will be.

And the Lake is cleared up now, generally. I was there yesterday.
