SX/SXi/SXi Pro Stator wire question

My stator wire going from the stator to the engine was severed last season and I am just now getting around to splicing it to fix it. There are two brown wires grounds? Reason why I as because there are two and I don't know which one went where. Any thoughts?

there are two on mine, looks like they go fro the charging coil to the rectifier/regulator. the charging coil would produce an alternating current, and it converts it to DC, im pretty sure polarity doesn't matter when converting. I would imagine they are interchangeable otherwise they would have used different colors.
