Super Jet Steering systems?

A lot kf the systems now give you the option to run fat bars or riser bars
they also offer adjustments to move your bars forward or back and allow you to move your steering cable to get more throw

So besides moving the bars forward, ( I have a -4" pole) and allowing fat or riser bars, there is no difference in throw compared to a quick steer mod?

When in doubt, Throttle-out.

Umm... There is a huge difference in throw... The standard "quick-steer" mod only goes out about an inch.

With the X-Metal Steering system I have the bars throw to about two inches. I barely have to move the bars for complete throw.

Like i said you have adjustment to get more throw

I wasn't saying you were incorrect, I was just saying the standard for "more throw" is a tiny adjustment on regular steering plates.

Plus, the 'standard' adjustment is planar vs. the X-Metal design where you can make adjustments in the X, Y, and Z directions.
This enables the vertical alignment of the cable to the cable mount which prevents premature wear...

Please Note: The X-metal Steering System has clearance issues with specific poles. It depends what you are running...

The bolts that clamp the bars down protrude out enough on the bottom-side that if you don't have the right clearance you may have to modify the pole so that the bolts clear. This was the one downfall to X-Metal's steering system that I found. I had to cut my aluminum pole a little bit so that it could have full throw (even though later I found out I didn't need to because I shortened the steering up so much it didn't matter).

Also, X-Metal sends you two different bushings. One for their pole (has a smaller O.D.) and another with a larger O.D. for 'stock' poles.

If you are curious, I have pictures here... And I'll post a picture of the four bolts I am talking about.
