Here is some pics of the carnage to my leg from the last ride I had this fall. The ski faired a little better, only bending the steering cable and losing one of the back corner "bumpers". I guess the trick is to not let the ski land on you in the surf. Not a bad scar though for a shin digger. Thanks to fellow riders at Wesport, WA who helped load the ski up so I could go get stitches.

Holy mother of ouch! It doesn't seem so bad until you see the cleanout pics. That had to suck!

The doc said the cut went sideways under the skin, almost like a fish fillet. He was able to stick his finger in the cut sideways past his middle knuckle. The worst was that while it healed it kept pulling the skin back off the bone to the side of the actual cut.
