stock bilge question

I am putting a 144 conversion pump in my fx1, and the place the stock bilge usually goes is on the other side of this pump. For now can I just leave the bilge hose connected to the hull but not the pump? Or does it need to be connected to the reduction nozzle?

You can block it off so you don't get water in hull, or extend the line and cross it around the reduction nozzle.

You started like six different threads asking questions/ reviewing the pump I sold you. Wouldn't it be easier if you were asking all the questions regarding this pump configuration in one spot instead of six? Six threads for one pump. I offer you my phone number good sir. pm'ed

The questions are not all about the pump, they are about engine alignment/stock bilge/etc so I did not make it one thread.

How did the steering work out?

It worked fine, little weird cause I didn't realize I could leave the steering ball upside down, so I change it to the other way and it caused the cable to ride high, but I will switch it back next ride and it should be fine, shouldn't have to cut any threads off.

Makes me wonder if I was using a rn cable BC I had to cut threads to get the steering to center.

Is it less stable at high speeds? I was reading a thread where flash-fx, Gordon, rigged a slight downtilt nozzle to correct the high speed chine walk.
