Stock RN starting issue no spark

Hey there everyone! Was out on the water yesterday and then took a break, went to start my ski and nothing so I thought the start switch was bad. Left it for 5 min and hit the button and this time it started. Rode it again for awhile then took another break. Went to start it and it cranked but now lost spark. I unplugged the black and white wire to see if it was the switch... still no spark. Ugh. Today I took apart the box. Coil is getting power when cranking. My guess is that it's the coil? Just seems weird that maybe I was having 2 separate issues. Initially I was convinced it was the start stop switch but now that seems fine. I just don't want to start throwing new parts at it. Any ideas?
It's a stock motor '06 701

Would suggest some easy low cost things first... replacing plugs... check connectivity of wires and boots. Check the resistance between the 2 boots. Can’t recall what the ohms should be. You can look it up.

Plugs are brand new. I will check the wire resistance. Thank you!

So I checked the wires and it reads 4.30 ohms... when I move the wires while maintaining the connection, the numbers jump all over the place. So possibly the wires are my issue?

If it is 4.3 kilo ohms that is likely ok.
Could be the wires or could be a loose connection with one or both of the boots.
Might want to move the wires around while checking for a spark (plug removed from head and side held with rubber handled pliers to a ground). Should probably move wires with a rubber handles tool as well. Seems like a 2 person job though.

Check where the wires go into the ebox at the rubber gromment, wiggle them, if feel loose, the wire is broken there, Had that happen to mine once and it had me chasing my tail!!!!!!!!!
