stolen super jet - FOUND!

or watch from the beginning as it unfolded. the story goes a little something like this.....


a good friend of ours had his superjet stolen today at about 1 - 2 pm today from markham park in sunrise, FL.

its a stock 90 super jet. it looks stock, too (white w/ gray and yellow stripes).

according to the witnesses, a young kid on a new blue three seater couch was seen towing it from where it was beached (near the north end) to the ramp (south about 8 miles) at about 1:30 pm.

if anybody sees or hears anything about a stock super jet or stock superjet parts in the broward county area, please PM me.

paul is a good guy and a friend to everybody. he has gotten countless skis running, towed countless boats, turned on dozens a people to standups, will supply and bbq food for anybody and everybody on the beach, is a great source of comedy and even managed to save a few lives, with his couch, off key biscayne (as featured in ride magazine march/april '07 pg. 27).

Daylight had one stolen almost 2 years ago, don't think it ever surfaced. Hope they have better luck and prosecute the sucker.

Fcking theives....although I hope he gets the ski back, I also hope the pri** swamped the motor towing it and it is useless to him. Then I hope someone runs him over with a car and does a powerbrake over his carcass.

NOOOO!!! this motor has never been swamped. its practically a factory fresh engine. even he would want the thief to have good maintanence habits.he always rode it like an old lady and maintained it like the duke of anal. to give you an idea of how clean the ski is, he bought it, a '90 NEW in the crate, in '00... so it was essentially in the shape of a well-maintained stock '00 SJ.


...but the sentiment is appreciated!

excellent! im speaking for more than just myself when i say that i appreciate it. when i called paul and told him what we were doing, i could swear he had a tear in his eye.

the great thing about doing this, besides helping a person thatd give you the shirt off his back, is that what we're putting together for him is essentially stuff thats taking space to the rest of us. ive been trying to sell this complete 650 engine for months.

I am just glad to help. Let me know where I need to send what I have. The pole is at my other house. (we just moved. "sucks") I will get it soon. I think it has a pad on it as well. I may have the stock bracket too and bolt like I said I will check when I get a chance. The picture of his ski is exactly what my ski started out as. Too happy to help.

We need the white paint, reducer and catalyst too I do have the primer.

Call Paul at Exotic and see if he can make the OEM sticker for the ski build up.
About posting picture of the built up/restoration.
