Strap length for limitedslip tanks

I have been using a 5 gal limitedslip tank for a couple years now and it's been a perfect investment. Looking for advice on strap length from those that are using the roller hooks that allow u to "double up" the strap (and not tie a knot in the strap to take up slack). I have several worn straps that I wouldn't trust for very long...I'm looking to buy new or mint used ones but need feedback from those using the roller hooks with a 5 gal limitedslip tank. I know every hull is different but a ballpark figure and type of hull is what info I'm looking for.

I ended up using a stainless steel brap strap with Kevlar rope I bought from a marine supply store fixed to the hull in 4 places....it's in a thread I posted over a year ago......I can send more pics if you are interested....this set up is stronger than any rubber strap combo could ever be...and cheaper and simple. 1 inch underpadding under the tank.

you have my attention definitly interested in some pictures, my dad was trying to talk me into just using for industrial grade zip ties lol the really thick ones

Two battery straps and two waterbox straps for mine. I think it just depends on where your inserts are.

Not a bad idea. The zip ties we have a work could easily pull a car. Ha

This is an old pic.
you cant see that the kevlar rope (actually its dyneema which is chafe free and not reactive to fuels,oils ) is actually also attached to the same front fasteners that were holding the base of the two straps....I have since removed the straps as they were too loose and in the way. The brap strap pulls the tank hard down onto the one inch thick turf underneath.

I know there are some versions of each tanks... I just ordered a new 3.3 gallon tank and the mount points are now located in a position for OEM tanks straps.

i also got the 3.3g tank but it was from the initial run of them so theres for mount points at essentially each side of the tank

Im liking this Zip tie idea, or at least as backup...
Can you share the a link to the zip ties your thinking of using?

i dont have a link sorry, i was getting them through a buddy on base at the supply warehouse lol but any lowes or home depot should sell the really thick and long zip ties..
